Singapore is really entering the Taylor Swift era, if this new Trail & Retail Pop-up at Marina Bay Sands (MBS) is anything to go by! The Taylor Swift Eras Tour trail is located at various locations within MBS, and is completely free to explore! There are a total of 7 different zones, each representing a different Era, and here’s a first look at all the photo spots to look out for!
“Taylor Swift” Butterfly Garden
Starting off with the iconic debut era, this is probably one of the most IG-worthy installations of the trail: with a lush flower garden and Cinderella-esque carriage decorated with stunning glittery butterflies. There will also be pretty blue butterflies “fluttering” amongst the bushes in the garden.
Note that you’re not allowed to actually enter the garden or sit on the carriage—the entire installation will be cordoned off and you can only take your shots outside and around the installation itself.
“Speak Now” Guitar
Enter a mini lavender “field” featuring a replica of Taylor’s signature rhinestone-studded guitar—an ode to her songwriting roots.
“folklore” Piano
Right next to the “Speak Now” installation is a recreation of the iconic piano scene from Taylor’s “cardigan” music video. The rustic-looking piano is even covered in “moss” and greenery, just like the actual scene!
The moss-covered piano also closely resembles the one Taylor plays during the “folklore” era of her concerts—a sneak peek for what’s to come later for Singapore shows, maybe? Note that you’re also not permitted to sit at/play the piano, as it’s only for photo-taking purposes.
“1989” Televisions
Go retro with this “1989”-inspired 360-degree installation featuring analog televisions stacked atop one another, each displaying images of the “1989” album cover—including limited-edition versions too!
“Lover” Digital Animation
Make a hand heart at this pink-hued digital projection, with the romantic artwork spelling “Lover” over and over again.
“RED” Mirror Maze
This is one of installations that are not “open”, but rather housed in an enclosed corner and even has a queue system in place as they only allow a certain number of people at one time.
Inside the semi-dark “RED” room are light beams that pulsate red light, and is surrounded by mirrors on the walls and the ceiling to make you feel like you’re wandering through a mini “maze”.
“reputation” Throne Room
The “RED” mirror maze also leads to a second concealed room: a “reputation”-inspired throne room. There’s an actual gold-gilded throne where you can sit on to pose like a queen, and even a “teapot” and “teacup” for you to “sip” (or spill) some hot tea!
“Midnights” Cloud Bridge
Enter a “Lavender Haze” with this dreamy cloud-themed bridge that you can actually walk through. The mini bridge is filled with glowing purplish-blue “clouds”—super pretty.
Retail & Merchandise Store
After the trail, you can also head to the Retail Pop-up to snag some exclusive Taylor Swift merchandise like t-shirts, hoodies, jewellery, tote bags, water bottles, tapestry and posters from $19.

Do note that pre-registration is required to enter the retail store, though you don’t need to have a ticket to the concert to qualify! Slots to enter the retail store are currently filled, but check back here to secure your spot once new slots are released.
Trail Guide
Each installation is located at different spots and at various levels of the mall, with some situated at opposite ends of the mall, so make sure to don some comfy walking shoes! Note that the trail opens from 10.30am to 10pm daily. You can only enter the “enclosed” installations that require queuing (the “RED” Mirror Maze” and “reputation” Throne Room” at 10.30am. However, the rest of the “open” installations around the mall can be accessed even before 10.30am. You can check out the locations of each installation via the map here:

MBS also has other Taylor Swift events lined up for Swifties to get in the concert mood: like a free 14-minute Light and Water Show synced with some of Taylor’s best hits like “Your Belong With Me”, “Cruel Summer”, “Style”, “Shake It Off” and more. The show will be happening daily from now till 7th March 2024 and pre-registration is required here.
