OVERRUN is a family-owned dessert shop that has been going viral for their aesthetic and IG-worthy soft serve creations. Since 2015, the cafe has been whipping up beautiful and delicious soft serves from their store at Baghdad Street, just a stone’s throw from hipster territory Haji Lane.
Not only do their soft serves look pretty, but they are super affordable as well! Flavours of the week are changed on weekly rotations and go for only $8. That’s really worth it for a big cup of soft serve piled high with toppings! This week’s flavour is the Ondeh Ondeh, topped with desiccated coconut, gula melaka, and even comes with a pair of Ondeh Ondeh!
Past flavours include trendy creations like the Brown Sugar Milk Tea Soft Serve that comes with brown sugar tapioca pearls, brown sugar syrup. We can’t be the only ones hoping it would make a comeback!
Some other flavours include the Red Velvet, Watermelon Milk, and Snickers.
In addition to soft serves in cups, the cafe also sells limited quantities of baked goods and handmade soft serve pints. Flavours available this week are Chendol, Ondeh Ondeh, Durian Chendol, Plain Chendol, and Bandung, and sell for $12 each, or $10 each for 2 pints or more.
The cafe is open from 12pm to 8.30pm from Tuesdays to Thursdays, 12pm to 10pm on Fridays and Saturdays, and 12pm to 8.30pm on Sundays. They may close early if they are sold out, so check them out early to make sure you get your soft serve!
