Le Vin Levain – French for wine and sourdough, is a new dining concept that will take over Tiong Bahru Bakery’s Eng Hoon outlet after sunset. As their name suggests, you may expect a wide range of sourdough-based dishes that you can pair alongside glasses of natural wine.
Happening every Wednesday to Sunday from 6pm to 9pm, Le Vin Levain will be bringing a whole range of gut-friendly sourdough dishes that range from bread baskets to pizza and waffles.
Just check out that texture of the bread!
Dishes on the menu include cold-cut plates featuring a selection of meat such as smoked duck that’s been cured for two months, and slow-fermented sourdough pizza with a thick chewy base that will surely make even the most devout thin-crust fans a convert.
For dessert, get a serving of the sourdough waffles that comes with a scoop of banana ice cream for a perfect combination of sweet and tangy.
