Leeu SG Is A New Singapore-Themed Ice Cream Parlour Serving Merlion Popsicles And D24 Esplanade Tarts

Homemade artisanal ice cream with #Singaporepride

Leeu SG15
Marina Bay is a gorgeous area to be out and about at, but when it’s sweltering hot with the sun beating down on you, it’s sweet relief that we now have somewhere to seek shelter at – Leeu SG, a homegrown ice cream parlour that just opened at Esplanade Mall!
Leeu SG16
Specialising in handmade artisanal ice cream, almost everything on their menu is locally-inspired and produced in small batches. Plus, unlike the usual ice cream scoops, they’ve got adorable and surprisingly intricate selections instead like a red and white merlion popsicle and a durian-shaped D24 durian ice cream!

Creamy creations

Leeu SG11Icy Merlion ($4.80)

A treat both for the eyes and for the taste buds, the Icy Merlion is one of the store’s highlights that’s cleverly made with strawberry and vanilla to match the colours of our national flag. More creamy than sweet, it’s endorsed by the Singapore Tourism Board as well!

Leeu SG12The “Esplanade” ($11.80)

Made for all the durian lovers out there, The “Esplanade” is the other patriotic highlight of Leeu SG, and consists of buttercream icing, a biscuit base, and an ice cream center made with fresh D24 durian – unless the all-time local favourite Mao Shan Wang is in season.

Leeu SG13The Fish Tail ($6.80)

If you’re craving for some good ol’ soft serve, opt for The Fish Tail instead, which has 2 waffle flavours for you to choose from – Original and Charcoal. As an added bonus, this treat is a healthy option as well, with the soft serve made from popular health food, Blue Majik, that boasts high antioxidant content and nutrient-density!

Leeu SG9These are sample sizes. Drink prices range from $6.80 – $7.80.

Also available on the menu are a range of soda ice cream floats, which have been wittily christened with references to Singapore. “The Old Timer” is a pandan milk and beancurd float, “The Zouk-Out Cure” is a yuzu lemon ginger soda float, and “The Red Dot” is a strikingly red berry peach soda float!

Leeu SG10Top up $1 – $3 and you’ll be able to receive a float together with your drink too.

Plus, beauty addicts will also be pleased to know that the store has just launched a brand new Collagen Booster ($6.80) early this month that comes packed with plenty of collagen-boosting superfoods like goji berries, white fungus, and red dates, sweetened with winter melon.
