There’s a new 5-star hotel opening soon in JB, and it’s none other than the renowned Sheraton Hotel by Marriott. The upcoming Sheraton Johor Bahru is set to be the first Sheraton hotel in JB, and is slated to officially open by the end of this year, in November 2025.

The new modern and chic hotel boasts 345 rooms, with 10 family rooms and 30 suites. The hotel is conveniently located along Jalan Storey, just 5 minutes away from the checkpoint; and it’ll also be connected to an upcoming boutique shopping mall that’s set to be open by end 2025.

The hotel will have all the popular amenities like an outdoor infinity pool, pool bar, multiple dining options, gym, ballroom and meeting rooms. Bookings for Sheraton Johor Bahru are now available, for dates in September 2025 onwards. Nightly room rates on their official website start from $589++, while stocks last, and subject to change.
