Bangkok’s night markets are always a hit, and if you’re travelling to the Land of Smiles soon this year, here’s a new night market pop-up you can visit! The Chinatown Market Chaloem Buri night market is a newly-opened street food fair, and it’s only around for a limited time!

Located about a 10 minutes drive from the city centre near the bustling Yaowarat Road is Chaloem Buri: a unique night market with vibrant and retro-esque elements and Chinatown vibes. The market has about 200-300 stalls in all, eclectic neon signages, plenty of al fresco seating and live music performances too.

You can expect a variety of street eats ranging from both Thai favourites and Chinese-influenced food items as well. Some highlights at the food fair include mooncakes, pork bone porridge, mango sticky rice, chendol, shark’s fin soup, handmade meatballs, grilled seafood, mini pancakes, braised duck, baked pork ribs, bird’s nest cheng tng, fresh fruit cups and more. The market is also open till 12am daily, great for stopping by for supper or a late night snack run.
