Attention, Bunnies: the “OMG” and “Hype Boy” singers will be collaborating with McDonald’s for their upcoming international campaign, the Crispy Chicken World, featuring exclusive NewJeans-themed packaging, menu items and more!
NewJeans collaboration campaign was announced just a couple days ago on 26th May 2023 via McDonald’s Korean social media channels. Exact details of what the campaign entails have yet to be released, with McDonald’s Korea only releasing a teaser of the dates when the campaign drops in various regions via an analogue-style flipboard:
The campaign will take place across 10 regions in Asia, kicking off in South Korea on 1st June 2023. Singapore is also listed as one of the countries where the campaign is taking place, but the exact date of the Singapore launch has yet to be announced. Though if we were to make a guess, the Singapore launch should happen before the end of 2023, hopefully in November or December.
NewJeans previously collaborated with McDonald’s for a burger menu that didn’t even feature any exclusive packaging. However, one fan took it upon herself to design a NewJeans packaging that went viral all over the Internet (see above), and this time we’re finally getting the real deal.
Fans can look forward to exclusive NewJeans-inspired packaging (featuring their iconic Bunny logo, perhaps?), limited-edition chicken menu item(s) that vary from region to region, special advertisements featuring the NewJeans girls and even a dance challenge that you can participate in!
