If you enjoy prawning in Singapore, especially as a fun late-night activity, here’s a new spot you can check out. Prawnzmaniac is a brand new prawning and fishing facility in Singapore located within Aranda Country Club, and they’re open until 3am daily!

Prawnzmaniac offers affordable sessions where you can catch unlimited live prawns and fish from $22 per hour! The prawns here aren’t your regular-sized prawns either: they’re all Giant Freshwater Prawns, and they’re extra large in size, with each prawn bigger than a hand. The prawns in the pool are also replenished every hour, so there’s plenty of them to go around.

The whole space features 4 separate ponds: with 3 prawn pools and 1 fishing pool, and your entry price gives you access to all the pools that are in operation. Prices for prawning and fishing also include bait, and are as follows:

You can also BBQ the prawns that you’ve caught on-site yourself, with complimentary charcoal and grill space provided. But if you’d like the kitchen staff to help you whip up a proper seafood dish (like with salted egg, garlic and more), there’ll be an extra charge of $20 for every 600g.

While we’ve yet to visit them for ourselves, we’ve spotted social media posts saying the pools are very beginner-friendly, and the prawns are easy to catch. Even if you’ve never prawned before, the staff will be there to assist and show you the ropes.
