Remember the super viral Korean bakery pop-up from a couple months back that drew insane snaking queues from bread lovers all over the island? Well, we heard that yet another famous Korean bakery, Taegeukdang, will be bringing its popular treats to Singapore this February 2024!

Taegeukdang is famed for being the oldest bakeries in Seoul, having been in operation since 1946. They’re most known for retaining the old-school vibe in their design, with a wide range of Korean-style bread, patisserie and desserts; and you’ll soon be able to sample some of them at The Butcher’s Dining, who’ll be bringing in a couple of these popular treats to Singapore!

One of their most popular and signature items are their handmade Monaka Ice Cream, filled with various fillings like milk ice cream, chocolate ice cream and even glutinous rice—all of which will be made available in Singapore for a limited time only! The list of items from Taegeukdang that’ll be available for purchase in Singapore include:

Hopefully we’ll also be able to see more of the bakery’s signature items make its way to Singapore soon, such as the fan-favourite red bean paste buns, milk bread, butter bread and “mooncakes”, just to name a few. The exact prices for each item and the date when they’ll be available are yet to be firmed up, but we’re told they’ll be available by early February 2024.
