SINGAPORE’S FIRST LUXURY WHISKY TASTE TUBES

If whisky is your drink of choice, or if you’re just starting to get into whisky, you’d know that it’s not exactly one of the most affordable spirits out there. It’s high price point means that buying a bottle of whisky is a commitment, and leaves little room for shopping around to decide which one you like best.

This is precisely the conundrum Ethed Collective aims to alleviate with their ingenious Luxury Whisky Taste Tubes (from $188; UP $218). These taste tubes let you sample a range of different whiskies without having to commit to a single brand, making drinking whisky much more approachable and affordable.

Each clear tasting tube contains at least 30ml of liquid gold, a perfect dram of whisky for you to get a taste and feel of which brand or kind of whisky you fancy. To elevate your drinking experience, each tube comes with its own tasting card, specially curated to guide you along your drinking journey, giving you a little more insight into what you’re drinking.

This December, Ethed Collective has devised 2 editions of whisky tasting tubes, with each edition pandering to different tastes and preferences. The first edition features whiskies that are lighter and sweeter, including:

  • The Macallan Double Cask 18 Year Old
  • Bunnahabhain 18 Year Old

  • Glengoyne 18 Year Old
  • Loch Lomond 18 Year Old
  • Jura 18 Year Old
