Matcha lovers will love this new café located in the CBD area for a quick caffeine break. Kyō Kohee is a new specialty café serving authentic Japanese tea and matcha drinks.
The idea for Kyō started in the owners’ own kitchen, where they would dedicate time specially to make coffee and breakfast. This act of intentionally slowing down amidst the daily hustle of city life inspired the opening of Kyō—to create a space where people can connect with each other and enjoy the “slow and simple” things in life.
Kyō specialises in authentic Japanese tea and matcha, with the tea leaves and ceremonial-grade matcha powder imported directly from Japan. You can also watch the matcha being whisked for your drink right before your eyes through Kyō’s open kitchen.
