1. Singapore HeritageFest 2016

Presenting the lesser-known stories of Singapore and our ways of life through immersive programmes such as open houses, trails and performances, the Singapore HeritageFest will enable our diverse communities to share valuable memories and stories in celebration of our cultural and vibrant heritage.

2. Getai Soul 2016

Held at a hidden park, this event is more than a mere music festival with just food, art and music. In collaboration with Lepark, a rooftop cafe and tapas bar, Getai Group is back again with a power packed 2 day music festival featuring your favourite local and international acts including homegrown musician Charlie Lim, Dru Chen, The Steve Mcqueens and more.

3. Shakespeare in the Park: Romeo and Juliet

Presented by Singapore Repertory Theatre, Shakespeare in the Park: Romeo and Juliet opens this 27th April to 22nd May 2016. Directed by internationally renowned director, Daniel Slater, Shakespeare in the Park promises to be the event of the year, where one can snuggle up under the stars and revel in the chance to witness the greatest love story ever told, right on stage at Fort Canning Park.

4. Thai Festival 2016

Held in the heart of Orchard at the Royal Thai Embassy, the annual Thai Festival is back once again. Event goers can expect to see cultural performances including Muai Thai and Thai cooking show, while enjoying Thai food, fruits and fashion at the same time. Other than that, individuals who spend a minimum of SGD $20 on Thai products at the festival can stand a chance to win a pair of THAI Airways tickets to Bangkok by sharing their images on Instagram via the hashtag #ThaiFestSG.

5. WOMEN: New Portraits exhibition

The most enduringly popular series of photographs by Annie Leibovitz titled ‘WOMEN’ was published in 1999. Almost two decades later, the new exhibition, WOMEN: New Portraits, explores and reflect the changes in the roles of women today. Annie Leibovitz’s most enduringly popular series of photographs ‘WOMEN’ was published in 1999. In addition to the new photographs, the exhibition includes work from the original series as well.

6. Workshop Element x Togetherly Pop Up Store

A brand new multi-label pop up store featuring clothes, accessories, bags, toys, handicraft, food and more – this is one exciting pop up store everyone is looking forward to. On weekends especially, the store will be transformed into a vibrant market, where workshops, food and music will be available. With products for all ages, the extravagant pop-up store will be held at Isetan Orchard, Wisma Atria all the way till June.

7. The Illusionists Magic Show

Breaking box office records last year when it made its Broadway debut, The Illusionists return to Singapore this year with an all new show and cast. The fast-paced and entertaining magic show will feature seven of the world’s greatest magicians. Audience can expect to be enthralled in a 2-hour show of mind-blowing magic, death-defying stunts as well as breath-taking acts.

8. LIGHT Pool Party

Presented by nightlife brand Eyes to the Front, the LIGHT Pool Party is back this year and would be held at the fancy Sofitel So Singapore. This year’s party will feature prominent Singapore-based DJs such as DJ Titus, DJ Rocky Suave and DJ Oliver Osborne.
