Bao lovers, heads up: China’s most viral Bao’s Pastry is opening their first-ever debut outlet here in Singapore very soon! Also known as Bao Shi Fu (鲍师傅), the store has over 100 stores in China alone, drawing much buzz and queues of up to 3 hours long at their outlets.

They’re most known for their famous Seaweed Crispy Floss Cake, a unique ball-shaped bun with a fluffy chiffon-like interior, milky cream centre and coated with crispy pork floss. These freshly-baked ball-shaped floss buns are so viral that the store sells over 200 million of them in a year. Other popular bakes you can get at Bao’s Pastry include pineapple cakes, egg tarts, cheesecakes, coconut pastries, butter mochi buns and more.
