If you still can’t get enough of Squid Game, don’t worry, we gotchu fam. Here’s a guide to all the Squid Game challenges you can find in Singapore (non-life-threatening, of course)!
1. Brown Butter
The café that started the viral Honeycomb challenge in Singapore, Brown Butter lets you try your hand at the Honeycomb Challenge. If you want to play, you’ll have to spend a minimum of $30 at the café (dine-in only) and follow @brownbutter.sg on Instagram.
You’ll get to choose between three shapes: a circle, star or heart, and you have just 2 minutes to carve out the shape perfectly with the toothpick provided. You have just one chance to succeed so do your very best!
If you manage to succeed, you get to pick from a tray of prizes that include a free iced latte, signature cheesecake, a bag of pebbles or marbles! Losers have to pay the price (not with their lives, thankfully), and pose with the iconic black and pink Squid Game coffin.

The challenge will be ongoing every weekday from 12pm-6pm only, so hurry down to Brown Butter to try it for yourself!

2. Monday Blues
This adorable café is known for their Cloudy ice cream series, and they are also offering customers the chance to partake in the Honeycomb Challenge! All you have to do is order any Classic/Cloudy Waffle (from $10.50) and you’ll be given 2 minutes to try and carve out the shape!
If you manage to do so within the time limit, you’ll be given one chance to pick from Monday Blues’ lucky draw box to win free drinks (Thai milk tea, hot tea, iced chocolate, ice lemon tea) or one free scoop of gelato! However, if you fail, you’ll have to post a photo of yourself on Instagram tagging @mondayblues.sg and tag another friend to take up the challenge.

3. Kanpai 2.0 & Cocotto
Kanpai 2.0 and Cocotto are co-hosting a Squid Game-inspired event in collaboration with Chorong Chorong Soju where you can stand a chance to win a bottle of Chorong Chorong Soju (worth $18)!
All you have to do to take part in the challenge is spend $50 in store and you’ll get the chance to participate in 3 games: Ddakji, Ppopgi (Honeycomb) and Marbles. Complete and win all 3 games and you’ll get a bottle of soju!
This event will be ongoing from now till 30th October 2021.

4. The Sotong Game Pop-Up
The Secret Patio will be hosting a Squid Game-inspired event where you can play Singaporean childhood games and enjoy a 4-course fine dining menu inspired by the show.
Admission is for groups of 4 only and costs $456 nett. There will even be a Front Man and Red Guards on standby to punish any players who step out of line!

5. Snacky & Crisps
Here’s one Honeycomb Challenge you can do at home: Snacky & Crisps will be giving customers 2 Honeycomb candies when they order a minimum of 1 Snacky Family Bundle ($15.50)!
If you manage to succeed at the Honeycomb Challenge, you get an extra prize from Snacky & Crisps! Just snap a photo and send it over to them to claim your prize!
6. O’Brew Culture
O’Brew Culture is known for their Dalgona drink series like Dalgona coffee, matcha, milk and more, so it’s only fitting that they offer the Honeycomb challenge too!
Pick a Honeycomb candy from their display for $2 when you purchase any of their Dalgona drinks (from $5.90) and take up the challenge (no prizes for winning the challenge, just bragging rights and street cred)!
7. Hao’s Paradise
Located at The Grandstand, a haven for all the halal pasar malam food we love: like takoyaki, corn dogs, satay, kebabs and more, Hao’s Paradise offers the Honeycomb Challenge for $4.90/$5.90/$6/90!
