JB is known for their many animal cafés and exotic petting zoos, but here’s a new unique one with animals you’ve probably never come across before. We found the first-ever chinchilla-centric café in JB, and there’s no entrance fee either.

Café Chinchilla is located less than 25 minutes away from the checkpoint, and they’ve got over 10 adorable chinchillas you can play and interact with. If you’re not familiar with chinchillas, they kind of resemble oversized rats, and are said to be a cross between a rabbit and rodent, with a fluffy squirrel-like tail. They’ve also got a couple of baby kangaroos and cats housed here too. You get to pet and play with these friendly chinchillas and kangaroos for free at the café, there’s no entrance fee or minimum spending required.

If you’re feeling peckish, stop by the in-house café that’s inspired by Totoro, Nekototo Café. the café is known for their viral lava cakes, tiramisu and fruit tarts. Some highlights from the menu include Matcha Lava Cake (RM28), Black Tea Mango Cake (RM18), Caramel Cheese Cake (RM26), Grape Tart (RM16) and more.
