JB is really stepping up their café game: this new quirky café is one of the hottest new openings this month, with playful and artsy decor that makes the space look almost like a showroom! Kirin Coffee is a new 2-storey café in JB, with a vibe that’s described as “dopamine” style.
“Dopamine” is a pretty apt term to describe the space: it’s super colourful and in-your-face, with a bold red colour palette and lots of unique and quirky decor items. You’ll find plenty of funky art decorating the walls, BE@RBRICK figurines, Supreme punching bag, beanbag seats, a spiral staircase, and more. Stepping in here is definitely a sensory overload, and there’s tons of IG-worthy spots to find.
On the menu is a selection of specialty drinks and plated desserts, with prices starting from RM7.90 each (~$2.40 SGD) each. Some of the more interesting items on the menu include the the Coffee+Brush (RM20.90) which comes served with an actual toothbrush, Ginseng & Goji Americano (RM20.90) and handcrafted Croissant skewers (RM7.90), just to name a few.
