POPULAR JAPANESE TEMPURA CHAIN ARRIVES IN SINGAPORE

Japan’s perfectly crispy tempura is unbeatable, and we’ll soon be able to taste the original with Tempura Makino—famous tempura chain direct from Japan specialising in serving tempura “Tsudoage” style, where tempura is made to order and served one by one.

Come 22nd September, Tempura Makino will open its gates to Singaporeans hungry for some authentic and affordable Japanese tempura. This is the first time the tempura chain has ventured out of Japan and will open its first overseas outlet at Suntec City, with a second outlet opening later in October at VivoCity.

Tempura fanatics can expect a good selection of assorted tempura with their tempura sets: the Vegetable Tempura Set ($15), Executive Tempura Bento ($32), Anago & Seafood Tempura Set ($23), Makino Special Tendon ($25) and more.

If you’re looking for more freedom in your tempura, you can choose your own à la carte tempura starting from $1.50 apiece, including Matcha Mochi Tempura ($4.80), Uni Tempura ($8.80), Steak Tempura ($10.80), Okinawan Mozuku Seaweed ($5.80) among many others.

To mark its momentous opening in Singapore, Tempura Makino will be dishing out free tempura eggs with any purchase to all diners from 22nd-24th September 2021 (for dine-in only, limited to 1 redemption per diner)!
