1. EYEYAH! Exhibition

This is one truly unique and quirky exhibition: the EYEYAH! pop-up exhibition is anxiety-themed, plus it’s free! Here you can learn about anxiety in a more approachable and digestible manner. In tandem with the release of the 6th magazine issue of EYEYAH!, titled “Anxiety”, EYEYAH! has partnered with Kult Kafe to create a one-of-a-kind exhibition that’s great for all ages.

The interactive and engaging anxiety-themed pop-up features over 20 artworks and animations from contributing artists and designers in Singapore and overseas, all exploring the theme of ‘anxiety’ through multiple perspectives. For more information on the exhibition, see our full article here

2. 200 TRUNKS 200 VISIONARIES by Louis Vuitton

Here’s another free exhibition worth a visit this weekend: the 200 TRUNKS 200 VISIONARIES exhibition by Louis Vuitton makes its first global stop right here in Singapore! The LOUIS 200 project invites creatives and talents from all walks of life to reimagine and design their very own vision of the iconic Louis Vuitton trunk.

The exhibition features numerous unique and creative iterations of the iconic LV trunk from the 1850s by famous brand names and artists like  BTS, Supreme, LEGO and many more! 3. Hong Kong: Through The Looking Glass

Even if you’re not planning on travelling to Hong Kong, you can still experience and see Hong Kong’s iconic sights and splendour—albeit only in miniature form. Hong Kong: Through The Looking Glass is a charming miniature exhibition featuring some of Hong Kong’s most iconic locations and landmarks, all in excruciating miniature detail.

The exhibition even features miniature people, real moving parts and flashing lights that bring the entire display to life. Hong Kong landmarks featured in the exhibition include the likes of Yue Man Square, Bamboo Theatre, The Blue House, and many more!

4. Bazaarbox

Eatbox brings you yet another themed food market called Bazaarbox, just in time for the Hari Raya season! Unlike your regular food bazaars that are open-air and subject to the heat of the outdoors, Bazaarbox is held indoors and is fully air-conditioned!

Bazaarbox will feature various retail vendors and food stalls, so there’s definitely going to be something for everyone! Find goods like apparel, handmade crafts, jewellery; as well as foods from Bagel’s Origin, Krunchy Fritters, Kira Kimchi, Salai Concept and many more!

5. Carnival of the Animals

For the first time in Singapore, catch Carnival of the Animals, a joyous and whimsical circus for the whole family! Inspired by French composer Camille Saint-Saëns, the circus features a bevy of various animals from land, sea and sky, who will perform mesmerising and extraordinary stunts that are sure to wow and dazzle all who are present.

6. Mickey Mart

7. Geylang Serai Ramadan Bazaar

If you haven’t visited what is arguably the most anticipated food bazaar of the year, what are you waiting for? This year’s Geylang Serai Bazaar is only getting bigger, with some 30 new stalls to be added to the festivities, bringing the total count to 70 stalls.

Visitors to the bazaar can expect to be spoilt for choice with things to eat and drink, with stalls selling eats like Praffles, Poffertjes, steak, paella, Vadai, churros and so much more! This year’s bazaar will follow a zoning system, so make sure to take note of that to avoid overcrowding the area.

9. Gardens by the Bay Precious Peony

Paying tribute to the peony, a flower that is cherished and revered in Chinese culture, the Precious Peony exhibition pays homage to the peony’s significance in Chinese history.

The peony-centric exhibition features a recreated Chinese garden, Peranakan shophouse, over 70 artefacts from local museums, all complementing the luscious displays of peony flowers.

10. SMASH! Exhibition

White Space Asia presents SMASH!, a unique multimedia exhibition centered around the demise of a long-standing love affair between local artist Yang Derong and porcelain. The exhibition expounds on the 5 stages from life to death of Yangs porcelain works: Accumulage, Assemblage, Rage, Damage and Mirage.

SMASH! is a highly visceral and raw exploration of Yang’s struggles as an artist and gives a brutally honest look into the reality of making art. The exhibition will also feature a series of NFTs, and a video and musical accompaniment from the famed composer, playwright and film director, Dick Lee.
