We’re used to always being told not to touch any art pieces in galleries or exhibitions, but this particular exhibition is just the opposite—visitors are welcome and encouraged to touch the art, and even add their own creations to it.
Say hello to the newest quirky and interactive exhibition in town by renowned South Korean artist, Do Ho Suh: Artland, located at ArtScience Museum. The roving art piece was first started back in 2026 by Do Ho Suh and his daughters, and features a fantastical and colourful world filled with imaginary “creatures” and “plants” made entirely of modelling clay. The art piece has since travelled to various parts of the world, and is ever-growing, ever-evolving, thanks to the various additions made by visitors.
Each visitor to Artland will be given 2 tubs of coloured air clay, and you’re invited to use the clay to contribute your own one-of-a-kind creation to the world of Artland. There’s no rules to what you can make, and the sky’s truly the limit here. Spend some time exploring the multi-coloured Artland universe, and you might be surprised by the unique creations you can spot throughout the artwork.

Don’t fret if you have no idea where to start with your creation: there’s visuals available to guide you, and examples of the many blob-esque “creatures” and “plants” you can make. Tickets to Artland are priced at $6 per person, and includes 2 complimentary tubs of clay (colours given at random) for the DIY experience.
