You might remember the viral standing sushi bar in the CBD offering 10-course omakase for $30++ per person; well, the sad news is that they’ve since increased their prices slightly to $38++ per person for their cheapest lunch omakase. But not to worry, Hana Restaurant in Orchard has just launched their new Sushi Omakase for just $30++ per person—the cheapest omakase we’ve seen in Singapore so far!

Hana’s Sushi Omakase offers 12-courses: 1 appetiser, 10 pieces of sushi and 1 soup. Not only does the course offer a generous amount of sushi at an affordable price, the sushi pieces are also upsized. Instead of regular-sized pieces of sushi, Hana’s XXL sushi pieces feature sliced fish that are not only thick but also extra long—at least double in size!

If your preference for omakase is one that’s sushi-centric, Hana’s thick cuts of fresh sushi will definitely hit the spot. While it’s definitely not like your more upscale omakase restaurants with much flair or finesse in presentation, Hana’s no-fuss omakase makes up for it with quality and incredibly affordable prices you won’t find elsewhere.
They also offer more premium sushi omakase courses for $50++ or $80++ per person. Hana offers limited bar counter seating, with more regular table seating available for the omakase course. The omakase is available for lunch on Monday to Friday and dinner on Monday to Thursday. Reservations are also required via 6737 5525.
